Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)

The Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) is the list of occupation  that are eligible for to make an applicant for Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent Visa), Subclass-489 (Skilled Regional Visa) and Subclass-485 (Graduate Temporary Visa).This stream is for employers to source highly skilled overseas workers for up to four years, with eligibility to apply for permanent residence after three years.

• The visa applicant must have 2 years of relevant work experience.

TSS visa holders:

• can work in Australia for their approved sponsor in their approved occupation;
• may bring any eligible dependents with them to Australia —
• dependents can work and study; and
• they can travel in and out of Australia while the visa is valid.
