Average Weekly Earnings as of May 2016
The average weekly salary is designed to produce estimates of the level of average weekly earning of employees in Australia. Estimates of the average level of earnings provide a level benchmark that can be used in comparisons. For example, individuals can compare their own earnings to the average level of earnings in their industry or state/territory.
